THE ELECTRIC FUTURE IS CLEAR

Ultium-powered propulsion

The Silverado EV utilizes GM's advanced Ultium Platform as the foundation for its groundbreaking design and capabilities. This innovative platform allowed our teams to create a high-performance pickup from the ground up. It integrates a 24-module Ultium battery pack into the vehicle's structure for impressive range while maintaining the strength and durability expected from a full-size pickup. The chassis features independent front and rear suspensions, an e4WD system with 24-inch wheels on the RST, and an Adaptive Air Suspension that adjusts the vehicle's height. Four-wheel steering improves maneuverability at low speeds and enhances stability during higher-speed driving and towing.

The RST and WT models are equipped with Tow/Haul mode, trailer hitch provisions, an integrated trailer brake controller, Hitch Guidance, and Chevrolet's Advanced Trailering System.

Charging Experience

The RST and WT models support rapid DC fast charging up to 350 kW, adding around 160 km of range in just 10 minutes, according to GM estimates. The Silverado EV's PowerBase charging system, in combination with an accessory power bar, offers up to 10 outlets, providing 10.2 kW of electric power for various worksite or recreational needs. It can even power your home with the right equipment. Additionally, it can charge another EV using the accessory charge cord.

With the myChevrolet App's Energy Assist feature and the expanding North American charger network, drivers can plan energy-efficient routes, even while towing. RST owners can access Ultium Charge 360 for simplified EV charging, with over 100,000 public charging points. WT customers can utilize Ultium Charge 360 Fleet Service, a comprehensive charging solution for businesses, whether vehicles return to a central depot or go home with drivers.

Designed for performance and functionality

The Silverado EV RST and WT models are designed for versatile functionality both inside and out. Thanks to the Ultium Platform, the design team had the freedom to create a stylish and adaptable truck. The exterior design emphasizes capability and aerodynamic performance, with a reduced front overhang for a more aggressive stance and improved visibility in Crew Cab models.

Inside, customizable storage solutions optimize space, including the lockable eTrunk in the front. The RST offers a modular console with ample capacity and a fixed-glass roof for increased headroom and spaciousness. The innovative Multi-Flex Midgate maximizes bed space for the RST. The second-row seat in both models can be configured in four ways to balance cargo and passenger needs.

With the Multi-Flex Tailgate, the Silverado EV RST offers up to 10 feet of load floor length. An optional tonneau cover provides a fully lockable, weatherproof storage compartment.

Technologies for today and tomorrow

The Silverado EV features cutting-edge technology, including an upgradable software system. When a driver approaches, the RST welcomes them with a lighting animation. Inside, a 17-inch LCD infotainment screen, 11-inch driver instrument display, and 14-inch head-up display create a high-tech experience. The hands-free start system activates as the driver enters with an enabled device.

The Silverado EV relies on Ultifi, GM's Linux-based software platform, to separate software from hardware, allowing for frequent updates and enhancements. This flexibility empowers drivers to evolve their vehicles over time and access cloud services efficiently.

Production, availability, and reservations

The Silverado EV will be manufactured at GM's Factory ZERO, Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center, after a $2.2 billion investment in EV production. In spring 2023, the Silverado EV will launch with a WT model offering an impressive GM-estimated range of up to 640 km on a full charge. In the fall of 2023, the fully loaded RST First Edition model will also provide a GM-estimated range of up to 640 km. Following the initial rollout, Chevrolet will introduce the full Silverado EV lineup, including WT, RST, Trail Boss, and more, catering to a range of price points and capability needs.
